NEW YORK, Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerrick Media Holdings, Inc., (OTCQB: JMDA) (the "Company" or "Jerrick"), a technology company, announced today, on the one year anniversary of the product's launch, that its social publishing platform Vocal has crossed over 100,000 user (content creator) accounts and is reaching over 5,000,000 page views per month. The Company is on track to double its creator base by the end of first quarter 2018, solidifying its position as one of the fastest growing long-form, social platforms.

The month of November was a tipping point for Vocal; over just a two week period, on average user submissions have more than doubled from 285/day to 650/day, published submissions have increased from 129/day to 500/day, and overall user accounts have grown from 85,000 to 100,000.

Vocal is engineered for the creation of rich media content and the intuitive discovery and navigation by visitors. Its proprietary, algorithmic engine capitalizes on the power of specific and dedicated audiences and is designed to promote maximum SEO exposure and monetization opportunities. The platform hosts nearly 30 niche-communities/websites, including pop culture, poetry, music, sexuality, and health and wellness.

"The recent spike in user sign-ups has engendered a rise in daily published content with records set regularly over the last 30 days," commented Jerrick CEO Jeremy Frommer. "After the introduction of social features such as Follow and Like, we expect the current velocity to only increase in upcoming quarters."
